HAMMOND--A Ponchatoula man is wanted for pornography involving juveniles and indecent behavior with minors. In recent weeks, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office cyber detectives have arrested a Denham Springs man and an Abbeville man as a result of proactive online undercover operations, said Sheriff Daniel Edwards.

Stacy M. Meaux, 46, turned himself in Thursday night according to Dawn Panepinto.

Charge: Indecent behavior with juveniles. Meaux is incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Additionally, arrest warrants have been issued for the following Tangipahoa Parish man:

Charges: Pornography involving juveniles, indecent behavior with juveniles, computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

These cases result from Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's detectives conducting online undercover operations in an effort to patrol cyber space for child predators. Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's cyber detectives led the operation which also served as a training session for officers new to Internet investigations.

"These cases are a reminder to parents to monitor closely what their children are exposed to on the Internet," said Sheriff Edwards.

"This includes not only online social networking sites like Facebook, but also the electronic devices that our children use, such as smart phones, games, and computers.
