Judge Wolfe sentences 12 for various offenses on Sept. 12 in Livingston court

LIVINGSTON--District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on September 18, before Judge Elizabeth Wolfe, and either pleaded guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

Milton Burgess, 36, of Denham Springs, pleaded no contest to Driving while Intoxicated. He was sentenced to 30 days in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on one year of probation. He must also pay fines and court costs, and complete community service work.

Brady Delaune, 21, of Gonzales, pleaded no contest to Driving while Intoxicated. He was sentenced to 30 days in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on one year of probation. He must also pay fines and court costs, complete community service work, and attend the Victim’s Impact Panel.

Lisa Faleon, 50, of Walker, pleaded no contest to Theft. She was sentenced to one day in the parish jail and ordered to pay restitution.

Ronald Jones, 31, pleaded no contest to Entry or Remaining after being Forbidden. He was sentenced to 90 days in the parish jail.

Trenton Jones, 19, of Livingston, pleaded no contest to Driving while Intoxicated. He was sentenced to 30 days in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on one year of probation. He must also pay fines and court costs, complete community service work, and attend the Victim’s Impact Panel.

Jose Medina, 28, of Walker, pleaded no contest to Possession of Marijuana. He was sentenced to 90 days in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on one year of probation. He must also pay a $500 fine and court costs.

Everette Newton, Jr., 39, of Denham Springs, pleaded no contest to Simple Battery and Simple Criminal Damage to Property under $500. He was sentenced to 10 days in the parish jail for each offense, to be served concurrently.

Richard Patterson, 69, of Baton Rouge, pleaded no contest to Careless Operation. The sentence was deferred and the defendant was ordered to pay a $282 fine and court costs.

Madelyn Steele, 22, of Denham Springs, pleaded no contest to Possession of Marijuana. She was sentenced to 30 days in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and Steele was placed on one year of probation. She must also pay court costs.

Stephen Sullivan, 34, of Walker, was found guilty of Attempted Stalking (2 counts). He was sentenced to 15 days in the parish jail for each count. The sentence was suspended and Sullivan was placed on one year of probation. He must also pay a $250 fine and court costs.

Tanya Thompson, 36, of Walker, pleaded no contest to Theft (11 counts). She was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and Thompson was placed on two years of probation. She must also pay court costs and restitution.

Derek Warner, 36, of, pleaded no contest to Driving While Intoxicated. He was sentenced to 30 days in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on one year of probation. He must also pay fines and court costs, complete community service work, and attend the Victim’s Impact Panel.
