The Amite Chamber of Commerce will provide an opportunity for individuals interested in starting or expanding a business in Amite and other surrounding areas to meet with a professional consultant on Tuesday, June 5.

Future meetings will be available on the first Tuesday of each month at this location. This service will be provided by the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana University.

The Southeastern SBDC typically provides assistance in the following areas: business plans, advertising plans, inventory control, financial projections, cost analysis, and much more.

--LSBDC is also conducting the Facebook class which will Friday, May 25 at 9 a.m. at the Chamber. Coffee and networking will begin at 8 a.m. and the class will begin at 9 to about 10:30 a.m..
