On Thursday, August 9 at approximately 5:00 p.m. a hit and run accident occurred at the end of Siebert Road off of Bennett Road. A red Ford Focus occupied by two people was stopped at the stop sign at the end of Siebert Road when another vehicle struck the Ford from behind and then left the scene. The impact caused the Ford to crossover Bennett Road where it came to a stop. On scene was Tangipahoa Parish Fire Department District 1, Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Department and Acadian Ambulance. The occupants in the Ford sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital by Acadian Ambulance.
