Judge Ricks sentences 7 for DWI from Greensburg, Tangipahoa, Ponchatoula, Kentwood

AMITE--District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on September 17, before Judge Brenda Ricks, and either pleaded guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

Robert Coble, 32, of Vicksburg, MS, pleaded no contest to Driving While Intoxicated. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on one year of probation. He must also pay a $686 fine and court costs, complete 32 hours of community service, attend the Driver’s Improvement Program and the Victim’s Impact Panel, and undergo a substance abuse evaluation.

Samuel Lopez, 31, of Ponchatoula, pleaded no contest to Driving While Intoxicated. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on one year of probation. He must also pay a $686 fine and court costs, complete 32 hours of community service, attend the Driver’s Improvement Program and the Victim’s Impact Panel, and undergo a substance abuse evaluation.

Stanley Neal, 34, of Ponchatoula, pleaded no contest to Driving While Intoxicated. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on one year of probation. He must also pay a $686 fine and court costs, complete 32 hours of community service, attend the Driver’s Improvement Program and the Victim’s Impact Panel, and undergo a substance abuse evaluation.

Thomas Stann, 46, of Greensburg, pleaded no contest to Driving While Intoxicated. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. Troy Pool, 40, of Tangipahoa, pleaded no contest to Driving While Intoxicated. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on one year of probation. James Tricou, 64, of Hammond, pleaded no contest to Driving While Intoxicated. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. All but 48 hours of the sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on one year of probation. He must also pay a $1,161 fine and court costs, complete 240 hours of community service, attend the Driver’s Improvement Program and the Victim’s Impact Panel, and undergo a substance abuse evaluation.
