Judge Wolfe sentences Tate of Amite for marijuana and others from Livingston

LIVINGSTON--District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on October 17, before Judge Elizabeth Wolfe, and either pleaded guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

Kennedal Tate, Amite, age 36, pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids and was sentenced to ten days in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and the defendant was ordered to pay a fine of $500 plus court costs.

William Clemons, of Denham Springs, age 55, pleaded no contest to reckless operation, flight from an officer, and possession of alcohol in a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to 12 days in the parish jail.

Jimmy Faulkner, of Livingston, age 45, pleaded guilty to resisting an officer and operating a vehicle without proper required equipment. He was sentenced to one day in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and the defendant was ordered to pay a fine of $100 plus court costs.

Deanna Fortner, of Denham Springs, age 20, pleaded guilty to simple criminal damage to property and careless operation. She was sentenced to 20 days in the parish jail.

Lee Anna Marshall, of Denham Springs, age 50, pleaded no contest to reckless operation and following too closely. She was sentenced to one day in the parish jail on each count. The sentence was suspended and the defendant was ordered to pay a fine of $586.
